AN EARLY SA DAGGER WITH RARER MAKER 9/10 SCARCITY.
A good example of one of the early SA dagger, and even better it has a maker that is rated 9/10 on the scarcity lists. This one is made by Carl Schmidt & Sohn AG Solingen. All nickel fittings are uncleaned and have a light patina to the surfaces. Themis-brown hardwood grip is undamaged and there is a nice nickel eagle and SA button. Lower crossguard is Gau stamped Wf for district Westphalia. Th... read more

LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS PARADE SWORD ‘FLIEGERSCHWERT’.
In addition to their daggers all Luftwaffe officers and senior NCO’s were required to have a dress parade sword. The design is similar to the 1st Pattn Luftwaffe dagger and was influenced by a much earlier European Medieval sword. The form of these swords is all the same, however as time went on they were made of different materials. Early ones are usually solid nickel but there are cast alloy ... read more

AN INTERESTING VARIANT SET OF ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER HANGERS.
The hangers for army and Luftwaffe daggers come in a great many variations. De-luxe clips, leather swing tops, metal swing tops. The choice is endless. Here are a more unusual set which I really like. All buckles and tops are aluminium. The straps themselves are a much lighter bullion weave with tan lines etc. The reverse is not the ordinary green velvet material, but a great chequered cotton c... read more

AN UNUSUAL EARLY OFFICERS PARADE SWORD BY ROBERT KLAAS.
An all brass dove head hilt profusely decorated with acorns and oak leaves along the knuckle bow and the back strap. Black celluloid grip. The triple grip wire has come loose in a few places and some strands are missing, but the central main strand is present over the complete grip. The reverse of the grip has an interesting Klaas feature insomuch as the grip wire slants downwards, not horizont... read more

A STUNNING 99% MINT EARLY RZM PERIOD SA DAGGER.
I’ve had a few of these before but to find an early/mid period SA dagger with RZM blade in this condition, is virtually impossible. Beautiful upper and lower crossguards which are solid nickel, rather than sink plated. Lovely wood grip with nickel eagle and perfect SA button. It looks like the scabbard fittings are nickel too as I can’t see any lifting or signs of corrosion. Beautiful RZM perio... read more

A VERY EARLY ALL BRASS ‘WRANGLE’ OFFICERS SWORD.
Another one from the sword collection. This early example of a ‘WRANGLE’ sword is part of the Field Marchal series of swords made by Carl Eickhorn. This particular example is not marked ‘Eickhorn’ but still has the ‘Ges Gesch’ stamp under the crossguard which proves it’s an Eickhorn. It’s also an early piece as the triple grip wire is all brass rather than aluminium which they used later. In ve... read more

A NICE EARLY ALL BRASS WEHRMACHT OFFICERS SWORD BY ALCOSO.
Another sword from this large collection. A very good example of an officers all brass hilted ‘dove head’ parade sword by ALCOSO. The market for parade swords and daggers during the 1939’s was huge and very competitive. All officers were required to own a dagger AND a sword for parade purposes. Each manufacturer had their own specific designs for each, so eventually there were literally 100’s o... read more
