AN EARLY ALL NICKEL ‘UNCLEANED’ LUFTWAFFE SWORD BY SMF
A firm favourite of mine, these Luftwaffe officers swords (and the 1st Luftwaffe daggers) took their design from Medieval swords, copying the pommel, grip and down swept crossguards. This is an early Luftwaffe sword with all nickel silver fittings. It has not been cleaned in a very long time, so all the nickel has turned a yellow colour with patina. A CHANCE TO PURCHASE A REAL 1936 SS CHAINED WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK!
Purchased in America, this EARLY 1936 SS chained has received just minimal restoration. Namely the original black painted scabbard has been professionally re-done and actually looks great.
