AN EARLY AND VERY UNCLEANED 1st LUFTWAFFE DAGGER BY RARE MAKER DAVID MALSCH.

AN EARLY AND VERY UNCLEANED 1st LUFTWAFFE DAGGER BY RARE MAKER DAVID MALSCH.

Not been in a collection before and purchased by me from a ‘finder’ who described the owner where it came from as ‘smoking 100 a day’!! Well, in can actually believe it from looking at the dagger which is covered in yellow patina. Apparently it was on the wall backwards and you can see that one side is slightly cleaner than the other, just! Anyway, all solid nickel fittings with brass inset sw...  read more

I came across this in America, and whilst I have or have had spare scabbards for army and Lauftwaffw daggers, I’ve never seen a spare TENO hewer scabbard!! There MUST be a few people out there with just the hewer and no scabbard, who are search for its mate!! Here it is! A standard scabbard for the Eickhorn TENO hewer. It’s in excellent condition. Upper and lower scabbard fittings are perfect a...  read more

A REALLY ‘PRIME’ EXAMPLE OF AN EARLY 1st Pattn LUFTWAFFE DAGGER BY SMF.

Designed in a similar manner to the Luftwaffe swords. The downswept crossguard wings are a direct copy from Medieval swords and daggers.
This 1st Luftwaffe dagger is a real beauty. All solid nickel fittings, which are in perfect condition, have just gone a little yellow with patina and age. The swastikas on the crossguard and pommel are inset brass, and the pommel ones even have the sil...  read more

LONG FIREMAN DRESS BAYONET BY EICKHORN.

LONG FIREMAN DRESS BAYONET BY EICKHORN.

Jo really a bayonet as Firemen didn’t have rifles! However, they have been called bayonets for as long as I’ve known. They are in fact parade ‘sidearms’, as there is no mortice slot or button.
This is a long type and in very nice condition. The nickel plated hilt, with up & down swept crossguard, is in mint condition, as are the chequered grip plates. The scabbard has all the original b...  read more

SHORT CARBINE TYPE DRESS BAYONET BY EP&S.

A very good example of the shorter type of Third Reich dress bayonet, often attributed to be worn by NCO’s. In near mint condition with all the original nickel plating to the hilt and crossguard. Working mortice button. Perfect set of chequered grips with tell-tale Ernst Pack trademark of off-set grip bolts, which are also removable as they have nuts and washers. AN EXCELLENT, NEAR MINT EXAMPLE OF AN ALCOSO ARMY DAGGER WITH STRAPS & KNOT.

Alcoso made 3 types of crossguard during their army dagger production and this is the 2nd type used from around 1937. A really nice dagger and accessories, which in my opinion have been together since the, and bought back as a souvenir.
A text-book Alcoso dagger with all the normal production traits. Alcoso scabbard, Alcoso pommel etc. Dagger is in near mint condition. All plating remai...  read more

AN EARLY ALL NICKEL ‘UNCLEANED’ LUFTWAFFE SWORD BY SMF

AN EARLY ALL NICKEL ‘UNCLEANED’ LUFTWAFFE SWORD BY SMF

A firm favourite of mine, these Luftwaffe officers swords (and the 1st Luftwaffe daggers) took their design from Medieval swords, copying the pommel, grip and down swept crossguards. This is an early Luftwaffe sword with all nickel silver fittings. It has not been cleaned in a very long time, so all the nickel has turned a yellow colour with patina. The large sun wheel swastika on the pommel is...  read more

A CHANCE TO PURCHASE A REAL 1936 SS CHAINED WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK!

A CHANCE TO PURCHASE A REAL 1936 SS CHAINED WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK!

Purchased in America, this EARLY 1936 SS chained has received just minimal restoration. Namely the original black painted scabbard has been professionally re-done and actually looks great.
All the fittings on the dagger are solid nickel and there is a lovely nickel type II chain. The grip has I imagine become damp at some time (probably why the scabbard needed re-painting too) and has s...  read more
