WW2 GERMAN FIGHTING KNIFE - INTERESTING PATTERN.

WW2 GERMAN FIGHTING KNIFE - INTERESTING PATTERN.

Another good example of a German commercially available fighting knife. Looks similar to the Luftwaffe fighting knife in many respects. Is pictured on page 77 of the German Combat knives book, but this one has a slightly different scabbard. Has a leather belt loop rather than the metal clip. In very good condition with a decent blade. Black painted scabbard with leather belt loop and cross str...  read more

WW1 CLASSIC GERMAN FIGHTING KNIFE.

WW1 CLASSIC GERMAN FIGHTING KNIFE.

One of many variations manufactured and used during WW1. This exact type example is pictured in the ‘GERMAN FIGHTING KNIVES 1914-1945’ book and I have included a picture of the book page as a reference. Typical hardwood grip with grooved grips (8). Black steel hilt and crossguard. Tubular steel scabbard with leather belt loop and across grip loop with popper, all in excellent condition and work...  read more

A LONG PATTERN ‘MEMORY OF MY SERVICE TIME’ DRESS BAYONET BY EICKHORN.

A LONG PATTERN ‘MEMORY OF MY SERVICE TIME’ DRESS BAYONET BY EICKHORN.

This is a very nice Eickhorn dress bayonet with the single etch ‘Memory of my Service Time’ etched blade. It is perhaps the most often found etch pattern with scroll down the middle and closed wing eagle and swastikas at each end. This bayonet is a little different to ones normally found as it has a set of stag grips which are attached to the hilt with removable nickel plated nuts and bolts. read more

ONE OF THE RAREST AND MOST DESIRABLE THIRD REICH FLAGS.

ONE OF THE RAREST AND MOST DESIRABLE THIRD REICH FLAGS.

This is one of the smallest sized REICHSKRIEGSFLAG’s made and flown. It measures Kr 50 x 80cm, which is about the size of a small display cabinet. Tiny!! Most are Kriegsmarine marked with the little eagle and M stamped on the linen rope hem. Often sold as a ‘U BOAT’ flag and I am sure they were used on them, but most pictures available show them being flown on E BOATS and smaller inshore craft ...  read more

AN AMAZING, UNTOUCHED & UNCLEANED ERASED ROHM SA BY EICKHORN.

AN AMAZING, UNTOUCHED & UNCLEANED ERASED ROHM SA BY EICKHORN.

Never been in a collection and walked into a local shop last week. I know a lot of collectors love the un-touched and un-cleaned daggers. This is certainly one of those! Obviously an early piece as this was presented by Rohm to his followers in 1933/34. All solid nickel fittings thst have gone a dirty yellow colour. This applies to all the fittings both crossguard SS and scabbard. The grip is a...  read more

A MOST UNUSUAL IMPERIAL/WEIMAR GERMAN NAVAL DAGGER COMPLETE WITH STRAPS AND KNOT.

A MOST UNUSUAL IMPERIAL/WEIMAR GERMAN NAVAL DAGGER COMPLETE WITH STRAPS AND KNOT.

This naval dagger shows quite a bit of history and progression in age and development of wearing this type of dagger from WW1 to later 1930’s. It seems to have started life in the 1920’s and has a beautiful larger Imperial style crossguard with capstan ends and central spring release button. There is a lovely toned celluloid over wood grip with a single wire wrap and the pommel is a brass ‘ re...  read more

A SUPER PAIR OF HANGERS FOR THIRD REICH NAVAL DAGGER.

A SUPER PAIR OF HANGERS FOR THIRD REICH NAVAL DAGGER.

These are a beautiful set of hangers and are in virtually stone mint condition. (They really should go with the navy moire belt I recently listed, would make a fantastic set). Anyway, these have perfect gilded aluminium fittings and virtually no wear to the lions head buckles and just a little to the snap clips. The hangers are a matched pair with the same casting marks to the rear of the buckl...  read more

THIRD REICH/1930’s SENIOR FORESTRY CUTLASS.

THIRD REICH/1930’s SENIOR FORESTRY CUTLASS.

Hunting and Forestry sidearms and cutlasses are one of my favourite items from this era. Usually devoid of an eagle and swastika, but if they are there, small and inconspicuous. This is an early all brass Senior Forestry Officials ‘D guard’ cutlass. Quite simple in design as all the brass fittings are quite smooth and plain. However, it does look the part and is complete! Nice cream celluloid g...  read more
