A MOST INTERESTING RLB 2nd Pattn MANS DAGGER WITH PERIOD UPGRADE.
A really nice dagger made by EF.HORSTER. It’s an early production piece as the pommel and crossguard are made of solid nickel. As is the lower scabbard fitting. RARE ‘GROSSE’ SIZE LARGE POLICE SWORD PORTAPEE.
This is the much harder to find, large portapee for the Third Reich Police parade sword. These are half as big again as the normal police portapee. The strap is much wider and the ball is much bigger also.

DOUBLE PERSONALISED ARMY OFFICERS DAGGER.
This later period dagger is actually dated, so we can identify it exactly. Dagger has a nice cream celluloid grip, plaster filled. The generic crossguard (similar in design to the WKC type) has been period ‘enhanced’ by gilding the surfaces. Just the eagle and swastika has been done, not the rest of the crossguard.
