EARLY SA(now NSKK) DAGGER BY ANTON WINGEN WITH ERASED ROHM INSCRIPTION.
During the short period Ernst Rohm was in charge of the millions of SA men in 1933/34, he authorised his now famous Rohm dedicated dagger. His signature and ‘In cordial friendship’ were etched to the reverse of 1000’s of daggers he presented to his loyal followers. Due to the vast number of daggers required many manufacturers were given the contracts to supply them. Anton Wingen being one of th... read more

EARLY SA DAGGER WITH HANGER BY OTTO STOVER.
An uncleaned, all yellow patina, solid nickel fittings. Came from a house clearance in Somerset and has never been in a collection before. Exterior is as found, with much of the original brown ‘anodised’ finish remaining to all of the scabbard body. Upper scabbard ring has the original short leather hanger and nickel clip. Grip is a mid-brown hardwood with no damage and perfect grip eagle and S... read more
THIRD REICH NAVY DAGGER BY WKC WITH KNOT & STANDARD PLAIN BLADE.
A nice example of effectively a ‘basic’ navy dagger with no optional extras! It’s not commonly know that the double etched blade on most navy daggers was an ‘extra cost’ item charged by the manufactures. It’s actually listed in the Eickhorn sales catalogue price list as such, so I imagine other makers did the same. It’s also why you occasionally see a navy dagger with a beautiful hammered scabb... read more
THIRD REICH NAVY DAGGER WITH ORANGE GRIP & HAMMERED SCABBARD BY WKC.
One of the navy dagger types most collectors are after. WKC were a popular maker of navy daggers and this is a good example. All brass fittings with a yellow/orange celluloid grip. There is a small crack in the celluloid but it is at the rear section, near the bottom, so not noticeable from the front. The grip has the normal brass twisted wire wrap. It also has the original bullion knot tied in... read more
THE RARE LUFTWAFFE ‘FORESTRY’ BAYONET.
In German this is ‘Forstbeamte Seitengewhr’. It was worn by Luftwaffe personnel seconded into the forestry service. Not really a bayonet at all as it has no mortice slot etc to fit on a rifle, but this is a SIDEARM. It is stamped Waffen-Loesch/Berlin on one side of the riccasso and Ch. Aw on the other. A letter ‘H’ is stamped on the spine. Contoured stag grips are attached to the hilt with thre... read more
A VERY NICE EXAMPLE OF AN EICKHORN ‘PRINZ EUGEN’ PARADE SWORD WITH KNOT.
One of my favourite sword types and part of the 9 group of Eickhorn swords known as the ‘Field Marshall’ series. This is a long sword measuring about 38” overall, so the original owner was a tall chap! This is one of the few Third Reich swords that has an eagle and swastika incorporated into the hilt design TWICE. Once on the crossguard with a great open wing eagle, and again on the dove head p... read more
SILVER & GREEN BULLION PORTAPEE/KNOT FOR SENIOR FORESTRY CUTLASS.
As with most accessories, original accoutrements are very hard to find. This is the dress knot worn with the Senior Forestry D guard cutlass. The one with the cream celluloid grips. Flat silver bullion straps with twin green lines running the length. The acorn ball is all bullion but has a green insert in the bottom and the ‘stem’ has a green background to it.
In very nice condition and... read more

One of the small fighting knives carried by Wehrmacht and Waffen SS soldiers as a close combat knife. Wooden contoured grips with 3 rivets. A tubular steel scabbard with single spring to the rear. Enables it to be slid onto items of equipment, a boot top or cross belt. This one has a single edge blade with riccasso. No maker evident. There are two carrying dents to the bottom of the scabbard. read more
LUFTWAFFE 2nd PATTN. DAGGER - COMPLETE RIG BY ERNST PACK.
A very good looking dagger and is complete with the original 23cm portapee and a set of de-luxe hangers. Quite a deep orange grip with aluminium wire wrap. No damage. A deep grey coloured scabbard with no damage. A decent set of hangers which have grey velvet backings. There is a slight period repair to the top strap where is rubbed against the uniform perhaps. Does not detract. A nice bright b... read more

A LUFTWAFFE 1st Pattn DAGGER WITH CHAIN - PURCHASED FROM A THEATRE IN GERMANY.
A most interesting item which displays well but obviously has been used for film or theatrical work over the years. All parts, except for the chains, seem to be original but have come from different sources or other daggers over the years. Scabbard is real but has leather missing from the upper edges. Grip is real. Pommel is real, as is the crossguard but it’s aliminium, whereas the other bits ... read more
