1936 SS OFFICERS CHAINED DAGGER-COMPLETELY UNTOUCHED AND UNCLEANED.
A highly collectable example of the always in-demand, SS officers daggers. Introduced in 1936 for officer ranks only and replaced the 1933 version.

AN EARLY NUMBERED SS 1933 DAGGER BY RICHARD HERDER - UNTOUCHED & UNCLEANED WITH ORIGINAL VERTICAL HANGER.
Apparently from the same source as the SS chained I’ve listed, this is a great example of an early SS dagger, definitely made and used from about 1933-35. It has remained in a completely untouched and uncleaned state for all these years. It therefore has deep yellow patina to the solid nickel fittings throughout. As far as I can remember, in all of the 100’s of SA daggers I have owned and handled, I’ve not had such an early ‘transitional’ Eickhorn SA dagger.

The gentleman who sold me this dagger told me his Dad bought it back as a souvenir and he used to play with it as a child! An early 30’s HJ dagger with no blade riccasso and a motto on the blade (although a little feint). Original scabbard and complete leather hanger with cross loop.
