AN ORIGINAL THIRD REICH CLASP KNIFE BY ROBERT KLAAS FOR THE HUNTING ASSOCIATION.

I’ve seen similar clasp or pen knives of this period before. A privately purchased item and made by Robert Klaas. The blades have the Klaas name of the logo of the ‘kissing cranes’, on each one. Stag grips on each side. One with professionally inset Hunting Association DJ badge, same as on their dagger grips, of the stag with antlers and the small swastika in the centre with the letters DJ (Deu...  read more

BROWN LEATHER TEAR DROP SWORD HANGER.

BROWN LEATHER TEAR DROP SWORD HANGER.

An ideal display piece but I would not suggest trying to hang a sword from it. The brown leather is quite fragile and whilst still all together, could break with excessive weight. D ring present. Steel snap clip also present and working. These hangers were designed to clip onto the integral steel loop on the back of sword scabbards and then the sword would be suspended vertically.  read more

A BEAUTIFUL HUNTING CUTLASS BY CLEM & JUNG WITH ORIGINAL ‘V’ FROG.

A BEAUTIFUL HUNTING CUTLASS BY CLEM & JUNG WITH ORIGINAL ‘V’ FROG.

Hunting and Forestry cutlasses have always been a firm favourite of mine. They are a part of German history and have been worn by members for 100’s of years. This is a prime example of a Hunting cutlass produced in the Third Reich era by Clem & Jung. Super early fittings with nice patina. A nice curved stag horn grip with the Deutche Jagerschaft hunting badge affixed go the middle of the grip. ...  read more

A RARE 'PUMA' FIGHTING KNIFE.

A RARE 'PUMA' FIGHTING KNIFE.

Always very popular with collectors, this PUMA made fighting knife differs from others in that it has a deep red Bakelite grip, rather than wood. The grip is nicely rounded in a tear drop shape and affixed to the blade tang with flat, flush rivets. A narrow steel crossguard. Blade is single edged and has a small bowie shape to it. The riccasso is stamped with the PUMA name and logo.

A VIRTUALLY MINT EXAMPLE OF AN EICKHORN NAVY DAGGER WITH ORIGINAL KNOT.

A VIRTUALLY MINT EXAMPLE OF AN EICKHORN NAVY DAGGER WITH ORIGINAL KNOT.

A really nice example of the naval officers dress dagger in virtually mint condition. I say virtually as everything IS mint apart from 2 VERY slight surface indentations on the scabbard. The brass fittings all have full fire gilt covering. No damage to the perfect grip and even the 42cm bullion knot, which has been there for ever, is in mint condition!
Blade is equally lovely with deep g...  read more

AN EARLY SS ‘33 BY GOTTLEIB HAMMESFAR.

AN EARLY SS ‘33 BY GOTTLEIB HAMMESFAR.

A very decent example that I purchased over this past weekend. Not been in a collection before. It’s been left alone so is basically uncleaned with age patina etc. These were carried by all ranks of the SS, both officers and men, until the chained SS was introduced for officers only in 1936. This is a great early example from around 1934/35. All solid nickel fittings. Lower crossguard marked wi...  read more
