Identical construction to a standard army officers sword knot. However, this has a black leather strap with triple silver lines running the length. The acorn ball is all silver bullion wire and the little slide is black and silver. The insert at the base of the acorn is bright carmine red. A really nice dagger made by EF.HORSTER. It’s an early production piece as the pommel and crossguard are made of solid nickel. As is the lower scabbard fitting. Another nice complete piece. Again converted from an earlier Weimar police clamshell bayonet, showing all the tell-tale signs.
