A FINE EXAMPLE OF A HITLER YOUTH KNIFE WITH FULL MOTTO BY EICKHORN.

A really good example of the ever popular HJ dagger carried by all Hither Youth members. This is a mid-period example probably around 1936/7. The blade has a riccasso and the full Blut und Ehre etched motto. This is an Eickhorn dagger and unusually it just has the RZM code for them etched into the reverse blade M7/66. This is most unusual as usually there is an Eickhorn squirrel too. However, this is definitely an original piece as the Blut und Ehre etching is deeply factory done and IS the style used by Eickhorn on all their HJ daggers. Heavy all steel hilt with complete nickel plating throughout. Perfect chequered grips and a perfect HJ diamond, quite small which is typical on Eickhorn HJ’s. Deeply inset into the grip plate. Very nice! The black painted scabbard has all of the original factory paint and the black leather belt loop with criss strap and popper, are in fine, supple, working condition. A very nice, classic HJ dagger.
