RARLY ‘33 SS DAGGER BY BOKER WITH TRIPLE HANGER.

It is really good to get an early example of an SS dagger by this maker. BOKER is highly sort after, especially in America. The dagger remains in a great uncleaned state, with traces of green verdigris on the nickel fittings where the leather has been in contact with it over a period of time. In fact the short black hanger was fitted around the top scabbard fitting, hence the green lines on it. I’ve carefully undone it and placed it in the correct position. A very nice ebony grip with nickel eagle and perfect SS button. No damage to the grip. Scabbard shows some very nice period age and has been PERIOD re-painted by the owner, but there are several areas in the paint where quite large portions of the original anodised finish can be seen underneath. There is an early black leather triple hanger connected to the upper scabbard ring. The blade, amazingly has been protected by the scabbard and is in full mint condition! It has 100% of the original crossgrain factory polish and 100% of the blackening in the motto letters! Looks fantastic.
These early daggers were worn by ALL ranks of the SS until the chained dagger for officers was introduced in 1936. A great dagger!
