RAD Officers dress dagger. Excellent!!! RAD Officers daggers are always a pleasing design. Quite delicate in their form!! This is a lovely example by 'Paul Selheimer', a not-so-common maker of these. retaines nearly ALL of the silver plating everywhere, just a slight thinning area near the grip and some slight bubbling on the eagles head. Nice undamaged cream grips. Super looking crossguard area. Perfect scabbard, with evidence of the silver lacquer/frosting underneath the crossguard area. Blade is near mint, with perfect motto and background. Some very slight surface scratches, other than that near mint!

RAD Officers dagger by Eickhorn. This is an unusual piece, as the hilt etc is brushed/cast aluminium and is finished in a rose colour. The scabbard is silver plated and has toned down to a greater extent than the hilt.Aluminium does not age very quickly, so the silver plated scabbard is a different colour to the hilt. I am sure this dagger has been together always. The blade is lovely and is virtually mint. The aluminium hilt and cream grips are also in near perfect condition.

RAD hewer, with original leather hanger. Hammesfar maker. A good, used example of an early period RAD man's hewer. Has maker of Gottleib Hammesfar to the reverse side, has slighly faded with polishing/use. Good clear motto on main side of the blade. Good quality stag grips, one slightly loose, but will leave as is. All nickel fittings, hilt and scabbard. This is an uncleaned piece with some patina. Scabbard paint is original and rates about 95% with some surface wear etc. Has attached the original leather hanger, nickel clip is marked and the leather leg piece is in great condition.
Overall a good, collectable item. As usual, heavy as hell!!
