click for more images		 Third Reich/Weimar era Senior Forestry Assoc.cutlass This is a nice early cutlass, by ALCOSO. Has the earlier 1930's ACS over scales trademark, stamped into the blade. Cream grips seem to be real IVORY rather than the celluloid ones used later. Brass fittings throughout. All acorns present on the grip plates. Black leather scabbard. Blade has very nice, clear and deep etching. There are two small rust pits, where the runners have rested against the blade, but not an issue at all. 99% of the blade is fine. Good looking cutlass.

click for more images		 SENIOR FORESTRY ASSOCIATION CUTLASS. Third Reich era. A very good, clean example of a Hunting Association cutlass. Beautiful triple etched blade,showing all the hunting scenes normally associated, deer and hunters and dogs etc., but no maker. (unusual). Scabbard is in great condition, all brass fittings,and decent solid black leather base. Hilt is solid brass and has been gilded, small areas remain. The white grips designate a senior rank, all acorns are present on both sides of the grips. No damage. Scabbard leather is black and undamaged. A very good, solid example. Reasonably priced.
