LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS PARADE SWORD. Aluminium type. I have been so surprised how difficult good Luftwaffe swords are to find these days. I have only had a few this year and all have sold really quickly. This is an all aluminium version and is complete with the crescent hanger to the scabbard. Maker is SMF, with the seated king logo! Blade is also marked with a number '214', this is also repeated on the top scabbard mount. Aluminium fittings are all very bright. Gilt to the pommel swastika has faded away, but is still very obvious on the crossguard. Leather to the grip is slightly scuffed, but 100%. Scabbard leather is again very good, with a small piece missing along one seam, very small. Once again, a very collectable piece.

An early nickel Luftwaffe sword by F.A Helbeig. A more unusual maker for these. Luftwaffe swords have shot up in price, and it's very difficult to get decent examples any longer. Many examples I see are well over £1000. This sword has a few small problems only, but basically is a very good example of the type. All nickel fittings to hilt and scabbard. Bottom scabbard fitting has some lateral scratches/dents. Leather is in good condition. Crescent hanger has owners initials scratched into the back. Grip has all of the leather and the twin twisted wires. The grip has a crack in the wood near the lower ferrell. Blade is very nice with all the nickel plating and very bright. Priced competitevely. GOOD SWORD

Third Reich naval Officers parade sword. Eickhorn. I have not had a good navy sword for quite a while. I really find them attractive and have now become very rare in good condition. This is not a Weimar period sword, as the Eickhorn stamped trademark on the pipe-back blade is the 1938 type!! All brass fittings on the hilt, crossguard and scabbard fittings are all lovely. White celluloid grip is perfect and wrapped with triple brass wire. Folding front and rear crossguards are perfect.Reverse marked with issue number O (for Ostsee)3107 Scabbard is in perfect condition, hard, black leather with no damage. Triple brass scabbard fittings with hanging rings. Blade is in mint condition. Pipe-backed and Eickhorn marked. A STAMPED trademark, not one of the fake etched types!!!!
A really superb sword and rarer than a Luftwaffe sword!!!

A high quality, early, all brass hilted dove-head sword by WKC. This is the model 1060. Heavily cast features in the brass, great detail in the closed wing eagle on the crossguard. Nice grip, with no damage. Grip wire perfect. Nice clean, mint blade with makers mark. Original black paint on the scabbard, with no damage to the metal etc. Good quality sword.

A very good example of an Eickhorn 'Derfflinger' sword. Designated model 1735 and is part of the Eickhorn Field Marshall series. This has a fire gilded hilt over aluminium, and the gilt is virtually all there. It has changed colour in places, but has a 95% covering. Nice celluloid grip with aluminium wire. Good blade, with some minor greying towards the top, good scabbard with no damage. All original paint. Reasonably priced for this type of sword.
