EARLY ‘33 SS MANS OR OFFICERS DAGGER BY BOKER.

A very nice, untouched ‘33 type SS dagger. This would have been carried by all ranks of the SS until 1936 when the chained officers dagger was introduced. All fittings have remained uncleaned and in places have developed green verdigris when the nickel has reacted with the wood etc. A near perfect ebony wood grip with no splits or cracks, just a few age bruises to the surface here and there. Perfect set enamel SS runes button and nice nickel grip eagle. Lower crossguard in stamped with Roman numeral I. Scabbard fittings are fine and all screws present. Lower ball not dented. The scabbard seems to have kept all of the original black anodised finish, although the lacquer has worn off. Blade is a little cloudy to the surface but very bright. Deep grey finish to the SS motto and nice large BOKER trademark. Overall a very pleasant SS dagger. These are becoming very hard to find in good, untouched condition.
