EARLY SA DAGGER BY UNUSUAL MAKER - PUMA.

PUMA-WERK was a fairly prolific manufacturer, but in my experience their SA daggers do not appear too often. This is a nice early example having all solid nickel crossguards etc The grip is a nice mid-brown colour with nickel eagle and enamel button. All nickel fittings remain uncleaned and are a dull nickel yellow colour. The lower crossguard in Gau marked No for Nordsee. Scabbard still has the original brown ‘anodising’ but no lacquer. Lowe ball has a slight dent. Blade is very clean with most of the original crossgrain polish. A very few slight surface smudges. The reverse riccasso has the early PUMA trademark of the cats head in a dais mind and Solingen underneath. Nice dagger. Rated 6/10 on the rariety scale.
